Re: Colorsync-users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 92
If so; how on earth do I do it? My one remaining brain cell isn't enough to work me through the i1 Profiler process (and the Help menu isn't too helpful). Mike Stewart On Wed, Aug 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM, <colorsync-users-request@lists.apple.com> wrote:

Can I create an ICC Profile from i1Profiler 1.6.1 (on the Mac) using just a CGATS file. If not; what is the simplest way to create an ICC profile from a CGATS file.
Thanks - Mike Stewart

Yes, that should work, assuming it's got the necessary measurement data.

Drag and drop the CGATs over the Measurement 'workflow' button or in that screen, select Load Button. Note, in X-rite's mind when designing a GUI, you have to specifically select CGATs. If you use the default, which of course isn't sticky, it shows .mfx and your CGATs file is grayed out. Why they can't just recognize and accept any of the supported files is a design decision that makes no sense. Andrew Rodney http://www.digitaldog.net/

Not always the best design decisions, indeed. Maybe version 2.0? Hopefully, with every dot iteration, i1Profiler will gradually become more "potent" instead of "everything proprietary" -- still digesting CxF, even though it achieved ISO status. / Roger -----Original Message----- From: colorsync-users-bounces+graxx=videotron.ca@lists.apple.com [mailto:colorsync-users-bounces+graxx=videotron.ca@lists.apple.com] On Behalf Of Andrew Rodney Sent: 5 août 2015 15:55 To: colorsync-users <colorsync-users@lists.apple.com> Subject: Re: Colorsync-users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 92 Drag and drop the CGATs over the Measurement 'workflow' button or in that screen, select Load Button.
