"Sound like your monitor is set to sRGB" That's my thought, also based on the "set to Normal gamut". My guess is that there should be a setting for 'Wide gamut' or so. I can calibrate my CG223W 'emulated to sRGB' using Eizo's Color Navigator software, I'm guessing this is something similar.
