Re: Courses and training - need suggestions or recommendations.
I have seen some changes but don't recall which pages. I use this book for a college course, 2nd edition. At one point one of the students had purchased the first edition by mistake. I can't really say if the changes were significant or not. It did throw off that student when I was referencing certain pages during a lecture one week of class. This book will help. Real World Color Management (2nd Edition) [Paperback]
Does anyone know if the second edition contains significant new material? I still have the first edition...
Anyone?

There are some errata items throughout that were incorporated into 2nd edition. And about 1/3 is new material between them. But that distribution is largely the 3rd part, with some the 2nd part, and very little in the 1st part. Part 3 comprises the application chapters, which are obsolete anyway. So without reading both of them cover to cover again, I'd say the meaningful difference between 1st and 2nd edition is probably minimal. Chris Murphy
Hi Chris, Are you considering a 3rd edition in light of new developments since the 2nd?
