Re: Kodak Custom Color Tools
I still occasionally use Custom Color Tools V.3.2 (©2005 Kodak). The published requirements are OSX 1.4 and Photoshop CS1, but I am successfully using it on a G5 Mac with Photoshop CS2. I think that's the limit, however. The big problem these days would be Kodak's licensing scheme, installing the software and getting it to run takes some co-operation from someone at Kodak. I remember when I transferred the license from a G4 to the current G5 it was a painful experience. The software is keyed to a specific MAC Address, and needs to be reconfigured by Kodak, I forget exactly how. All I know is that I never want to do it again, so that G5 better not die... But it's worth it, the concept of being able to edit a profile using the tools one is familiar with in Photoshop is both obvious and brilliant. Chris Protopapas
Tell me about it, now that you mention it. It brings back long forgotten painful memories:( What a pain, indeed. / Roger -----Original Message----- From: colorsync-users-bounces+graxx=videotron.ca@lists.apple.com [mailto:colorsync-users-bounces+graxx=videotron.ca@lists.apple.com] On Behalf Of Chris Protopapas Sent: Tuesday, February 12, 2013 4:07 PM To: colorsync-users@lists.apple.com Subject: Re: Kodak Custom Color Tools I still occasionally use Custom Color Tools V.3.2 (©2005 Kodak).
