The resolution setting and the high speed, etc. can affect the color output a little bit, but probably not much. The default settings are most likely what the profiles are made to represent. So stick with those if it works for you. But if you have a need for a higher resolution or something, go ahead and try a print. You’ll get an idea of how much difference (if any) you’ll see by first-hand experience.
