Eizo CG275w and basICColor Discus compatibility.
Dear all, I would like to know if anybody already tried to install and to run the latest version of ColorNavigator 6 which is 6.4.2? The corporate Eizo website indicates a full support for the basICColor spectrophotometer in its software section. However, even after having installed it, it is not recognized while the others like DTP94, i1Display, i1Pro and i1pro2 are available. I currently run on a Mac Pro Quad-Core Intel Xeon 2.8 Ghz with an ATI Radeon HD 5770 on Mac OS X 10.6.8. I've got two monitors; the second one is a Quato intelli Proof 213. I have to mention that the Discus works well on both screens with others calibration software like basICColor Display for example. Many thanks beforehand for your answers. Hello again, I finally found with the help of Mister Ohlsson the proper way to use it. :-) Thanks Stefan. All the best! I don't know about the Discus, but I believe that the other devices you mentioned are inappropriate for use on a wide-gamut display like the 275W. Tony -- Anthony R. Sanna SACO Foods, Inc. 1-800-373-7226 asanna@sacofoods.com
The Discus includes multiple filters specific to wide gamut, lcd normal gamut, srgb gamut, and crt. The i1Pro and i1Pro2 would work fine for wide-gamut displays since they are spectrophotometers, not colorimeters. Terry
The i1DisplayPro, will work just fine on wide gamut displays. It has an excellent color matching function response and all units are fully calibrated spectrally in the factory. Regards, Tom On 5/7/13 6:24 PM, "Terence Wyse" <wyseconsul@mac.com> wrote:
