NEC branded DTP94 and new mac chip
Anyone know if we can get this display colorimeter to work with spectraview and the new Mac chip? We've got an NEC Spectraview monitor that we're hooking up to a new Mac laptop and can't seem to get Spectraview to work. The new chip requires the latest version of Spectraview and we're not sure if it still supports the calibrator. Version 1.1.41.00 – build 200508 – May 8, 2020 Release Notes New 64-bit Build SpectraView is now a 64-bit application. Due to the requirements for 64-bit applications, the minimum supported macOS version is now 10.12 and support for the X-Rite i1Display V2 sensor has been discontinued. A legacy 32-bit build of this application's version 1.1.39 is available if support for Mac OS X 10.7 - 10.11 or the X-Rite i1Display V2 sensor is required. Supported Color Sensors SpectraView II supports the following color sensors: Datacolor Spyder3 Datacolor Spyder4 Datacolor Spyder5 Datacolor SpyderX NEC MDSVSENSOR3 NEC SpectraSensor Pro Photo Research PR-655, PR-670, PR-680, PR-730 and PR-740 Spectroradiometers. X-Rite ColorMunki X-Rite i1Display Pro / X-Rite i1Display Pro Plus X-Rite i1Monitor X-Rite i1Pro X-Rite i1Pro2 X-Rite i1Pro3 / X-Rite i1Pro3 Plus X-Rite i1Studio Note: The X-Rite ColorMunki Display device introduced in mid-2011 and sold as the "ColorMunki Create" bundle is not supported. The X-Rite i1Display Studio device introduced in 2019 is not supported.
Thanks! One more question: Any reason why we shouldn’t get the xrite 11 display pro plus versus the NEC customized mdsvsensor3 to future proof for eventual OLED screen adoption?
