Hi All,I too am interested in ICC Max profiles. My focus is improved spot color accuracy for large format printers and press proofing of non-CMYK only ink sets. As we know, many designers will specify non-100% spot colors only and various levels of spots on top of one another. My concern is the ability (or non-ability) of press proofing systems to predict these results on press when Pantone colors are reduced from solid or mixed with each other. My understanding is that these new Max profiles can make the printer Rip's spot color library more accurate on media and additionally to what the press will print. Has anyone experienced any pros or cons with the Max profiles regarding spot color proofing/printing? Randy ZauchaManaged Color
