Newbee needs help with Eye-One and iMac
Trying to calibrate my Imac with cinema screen. Using (or attempting to use) eye-one display with its new lion software. Went through all the motions, did everything and when it generated a new profile, it rendered the screen very GREEN in color. Gamma was 2.2 Lum 120. Did it again and again it was green. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Would appreciate any and all help Scott Goldstein Los Angeles
Scott, which instrument did you use? If it´s an i1 Display 2, the filters may have aged and it´s ready for the bin. It´s not suited for wide gamut monitors with LED backlight anyway. If it´s is an i1 Display Pro, the instrument shouldn´t be the problem. To exclude the software as being the problem you may want to try a different software. basICColor display 5 can be downloaded from www.basccolor.de and unlocked for a 14-days trial period.
