standard Lab values for C, M, Y, K for large format printer
I tried measuring lab values of individual ink in large format printer and compared it with the standard per ink lab value for offset printing. The difference is significant. Will this affect the colorspace of the device? Regards
Yes. Absolutely. Compared to the litho world, large format is the color management Wild Wild West. Not only is whatever machine you tested not going to have "ISO standard" primaries, but the one right next to it, if it’s a different brand, will have different primaries as well. And the primaries will of course have a huge bearing on the overall gamut of each individual device. Mike Adams Correct Color
