Are there any figures available for the difference in gamut of a G7 compliant HP Indigo compared to one that runs the HP recommended machine calibration? Henry
Wouldn't be a lot of difference in color gamut between the two if you're just talking about doing a G7 calibration using the existing Indigo densities. A G7 calibration only adjusts the tone curve and gray balance. OTOH, if what you mean by "G7 compliant" is a G7 *targeted* printing condition (targeted to GRACoL C1, SWOP C3/5) then there would likely be a difference...larger or smaller depends on the target you use.
