Re: Colorsync-users Digest, Vol 10, Issue 59
I use a free app that installs itself as an additional System Preference pane called FunctionFlip to disable just those two keys (brightness up and down) without pressing the Fn key. I find it to be a very easy way to customize the keyboard. -Ron

Apologies if I wasn't clear. I am wanting to calibrate best as possible my iMac screen. Is this realistic? I will still be using the NEC along side as the bellwether but having both in somewhat sync would be great. Since the iMac has it's brightness control as part of the keyboard, like notebooks, is there any way to override this so those of us who type badly do not constantly change the brightness not on purpose?
