They should produce identical results (and do on this end). I'm using 10.9.3 too, Photoshop CC and LR 5 but the two have printed the same since day one unless there's something else going on. Be useful to see screen captures of each setup. Are you using V4 profiles anywhere? LR Andrew Rodney http://www.digitaldog.net/
Andrew...Screen captures of what? Printer settings? Dont know what V4 profiles are. More info... I did have a clone disk of Mountain Lion 10.8.5 that I booted too. It has LR 5.2 on it. I imported this same test file into LR, used the EXACT same saved-settings that we have been using for years. And the result from the printed file from the MOUNTAIN LION disk is more like what we would expect, continuous tone, subtle gradations, slightly less contrast, and less saturation than the others. I now have three prints in my color corrected viewing room, they are... Mavericks, LR 5.2 = very contrasty and saturated Mavericks, PSD = normal and expected contrast range, but slightly more contrasty and saturated than Mountain Lion rendition below. Mountain Lion, LR 5.2 = normal-ish contrast, but even less contrasty and less saturated color than either of the two above So I have three prints, NONE of which agree with each other from two operating systems, two using the same version of LR and one out of Photoshop. Which is 'correct', I have no idea. The ML version would fall more into what we are used to, that is to say, we would add contrast and some saturation to get a "presentation" print to our liking. Shoot me now. My guess is to reinstall Mavericks at this point. Thoughts? Russ On May 30, 2014, at 12:20 PM, Andrew Rodney <andrew@digitaldog.net> wrote:

Yes, captures of both setups. Version 4 profiles have in the past been somehwhat problematic with LR. I just printed the same image in both app's, they are identical. Before you reinstall the older OS, try the Epson enema: Delete all instances of Epson printers from System Preferences>Print & Fax. Then go to /Library/Printers and toss the whole Epson folder. Toss LFP Remote Panel (IF you are using this utility for your printer). Then reinstall drivers. Might work. Be sure you download the newest driver from Epson (NOT Apple).
