does anyone know a Linux distribution where Gutenprint does CMYK out of the box?
As the subject line says. I have hit various bugs printing CMYK with Gutenprint, and wish to know whether anyone has a distrib where it just works. Edmund

With openSUSE 12.3: * Printing the CMYK TIFF you sent me gave basically a gray page with narrow vertical stripes. * Converting it to PDF using ImageMagick, and verifying with "identify -verbose file.tif", printed correctly, in CMYK mode. I verified this both from the CUPS error log (where Gutenprint indicated that it was in CMYK mode) and by visual inspection of the output with a 5x loupe.
