Hi, Does anyone have any REAL experience with a Chinese spectrophotometer model number NS800 from 3nh? I contacted the manufacture on China and they said the performance is close to a X-Rite instrument… but, of course, I’d like to have a REAL customer report. https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Meter-Professional-Colorimeter-spectrophotomete... <https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Meter-Professional-Colorimeter-spectrophotometer/dp/B01D5M2PTS/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1542389513&sr=8-11&keywords=ns800> For a 8mm aperture spectro with multiple light sources the price is good and it has a small footprint, which facilitates the integration with a XY table. Best Regards, Lorenzo
Hello Lorenzo, According to the manufacturer documentation this model light source(s) are not claimed to be M0, M1, or M2 compliant but "combined LED sources". I asked the question directly to the manufacturer about this and got an answer mentioning the supported illuminants used for tristimulus reporting. So you may want to clarify this. Thank you Danny! At least they say ‘D50’ that may be close to M1. I’ll ask for the spectro curves for the illuminants. Best Regards, Lorenzo
