Re: Colorsync-users Digest, Vol 10, Issue 110
Since the whole reason to switch is because we are moving to OS 10.8, I don't see this as an option right now. If someone knows otherwise that Argyll CMS "is" supported on 10.8, please let me know.
With a patch it works now as I know, but nowadays I mostly use BasICColor on Mac, and Argyll only on Win. . You should join the Argyll mailing list. I hope you get more help there. -- Regards, Norbert On Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 9:00 PM, colorsync-users-request@lists.apple.com wrote:

We had been using ProfileMaker Pro for monitor calibration throughout our institution (with the exception of ColorNavigator for the Eizo monitors), but when we finally get OS 10.8 installed on our Macs we can no longer use that. I am looking for a cross-platform solution to calibrate monitors throughout our institution. We use the I1Pro.
What are the recommendations for calibration software with an option for a site license? I'm aware of basICColor, i1Profiler, ColorEyes Display Pro, ColorMunki as possible options (though I don't know about the site license options). Are there other software solutions that you would recommend? What are the advantages/disadvantages of each? Thanks.

This is a great suggestion and one that I was considering already. Unfortunately, I don't think it will work out because on the web site < http://dispcalgui.hoech.net/#requirements> it states:
General system requirements
- A recent Linux, Mac OS X (10.4 up to 10.7, 10.8 is not yet supported by Argyll CMS—if you want to help make it happen, please consider donating to the Argyll CMS project <http://argyllcms.com/>) or Windows (2000 or newer) operating system.
