Thank you for the info, Andrew and Mark. So is there a better book-printing service you'd recommend? Where would I find an RGB profile I could use for (approximate??) "soft-proofing"? And if I may follow up to my first post: I'm still not clear on how I should set MultiProfiler. With the particular images I'm using, I'm not noticing much of a change when I switch between sRGB, Adobe RGB, and "bright" (or whatever it's called). The GUI elements and desktop change noticeably, but I don't notice any major shifts in the images themselves (as displayed by LR4). On the other hand, I can't do a side-by-side comparison. Thanks again for your answers. Armand

I’ve only printed one test book out of LR to Blurb and it was under whelming but the same images printed through Aperture were superb. But that means using Aperture OR exporting the book as a PDF in LR and finding someone to print it. Until LR 4 came out, all the book printing I did was through Aperture (about the only functionality I used). As for the display, well I target mine to match a print viewed on my booth that sits next to the display. So neither a preset Adobe RGB or sRGB behavior per se but one that matches what I print or have printed. Andrew Rodney http://www.digitaldog.net/
