Everyone, please… I think everyone’s gone deep into the weeds. All I was really, honestly asking for was a suggestion for a *reasonable* replacement for the NEC PA302W. Only one of you actually replied and mentioned looking at the Eizo ColorEdge series.Unfortunately, the only one that’s approximately the same size is the CG319X which is approximately triple my budget. Are there any other monitors worth considering? Thank you Dimitri Katsaros

I'm not sure what part of the planet you are on. I'm sorry, but the PAs are still available somewhat. For example, at $2K: http://officewonderland.com/listings/nec-pa302w-bk-sv-30-1610-ips-monitor-wi... https://bluesquare.digital/nec-display-multisync-pa302w-30-led-lcd-monitor-1... You might look around, even on eBay or similar, to see if you can find a new or used unit. Andrew Rodney http://www.digitaldog.net/
Hi Dimitri, To stay in the Adobe RGB world without breaking the bank, you can take a look at the ViewSonic VP2786-4K. https://www.viewsonic.com/us/products/vp2786-4k.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=viewsonic%20colorpro%20vp2786-4k&N... https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-VP2786-4K-Integrated-DisplayPort-Profession... This device is certified for soft proofing by both FOGRA and IDEALLIANCE: https://fogra.org/en/certification/certified-persons-companies-and-products/... https://idealliance.org/systems-certification/soft-proofing-certified-system... The current ISO standards, namely ISO 12646:2015 and ISO 14861:2015, that define soft proofing capability of displays do not directly address their observer metameric properties. Hence you have to keep mind that all WCG displays come with some level of observer metameric mismatch. Alternatively, BenQ SW321C, SW272U or SW272Q are also Adobe RGB capable WCG Displays. https://www.benq.com/en-us/monitor/compare-all.html?feature-category=photo-r... The rest of the ColorPro series from ViewSonic (sRGB) and BenQ’s DesignVue displays (some can do P3 but mostly sRGB) may also serve in color critical scenarios with their more limited gamuts.
