ColorAnt and Colorthink Pro. Or if you happen to have the EFI XF RIP, Color Tools has a nice tool for this. You need to set up your printer as an output device in the System Manager window first. Mike Strickler MSP Graphic Services

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a software that will let me see how many Pantone colors or how many percent of Pantone Library I can match from my printer ICC profile used as a destination profile.

Thanks. I will try i1 Profiler, PatchTool and ColorThink Pro. Mike, I do have EFI XF Rip also but the printer I want to use is not used in EFI. I did not build EPL, just have an ICC profile. Do I need to go through building EPL to see this? Derek Lambert

Hi Derek, All you need to do is connect your profile to any epl of the same type, e.g., CMYK, CMYKOG, etc.). It doesn't need to be from the same actual device. It's just so that a complete output device is visible. Then use the Gamut Check feature in the Color Editor to select a library and some or all of the colors and execute. In a few seconds you'll have your list. Mike Mike Strickler MSP Graphic Services (1) 707.664.1628 (O) (1) 707.321.7855 (M) Sent from my iPhone
