I tested Darwin in the Tiger days, and was able to run and install it (I think it was virtualized)... without a need for a kernel -compile. and no, I will not use any Unix-like OS's that are not Darwin... I have read enough about the architecture, and enough Open Source mailing lists msg's to chose Darwin. if the method requires a kernel -compile, since my current experimental machine is "picky about DVI-to-VGA" connections, it will keep me entertained for some weeks... or months depending on time availability. happy new year, to all...

% uploaded... yes, the image is huge.
Perhaps you could start your own mailing list for your enSUI project, so that people who are interested can join it? I'm sure the rest of us don't need to know every time you upload something to your website.
Kind regards,
Alastair.
well, it was the first upload... I apologize for going off-topic in some "threads"; that was my way of replying to comments that have the "rtfm tendency" (which almost "stray" me away from Open Source, I prefer to the point and useful in some way replies... like your last one). For this year, I will simply "multiply by zero" some comments. enSUI will use a Vanilla web-forum, not on a mood to learn mailing lists set-ups. // what I don't like is that Re: and Fwd: "leave orphan threads empty" thanks, SG Vincenzi _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
