Experiencing the following panic when accessing certain files on the disk in my 17" powerbook. Attempting to fix permissions in the Disk Utility causes it, for example. Running DiskWarrior on another machine to fix my disk causes *that* machine to panic also. Was the disk mounted when DiskWarrior was run? If so, you might want to unmount it using Disk Utility (as opposed to ejecting it), then try DW. It should be quite hard for the kernel HFS filesystem driver to panic if the disk is unmounted. :) This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
