IOSyncer Deprecated. Replacement?

site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: darwin-dev@lists.apple.com Recompiling my kext for Leopard has revealed that IOSyncer is entirely deprecated. Is there a replacement? What should be done instead?
