We have a customer that wants to control the details of the wireless network card in a Mac (the airport). We want to set the SSID, BSSID, ratecontrol, channels etc, WEP keys, WPA, WPA2, basically all information that a wireless device would want to know. There is also a requirement that we should be the only controlling application doing that (i.e. block the System Settings app in some way). Does anyone have any idea of how that is done on OSX (the direct programmatical control of a wireless netowrk interface) ? This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
