It'll work, but it won't be full. I doubt you'll notice the difference though. I've been playing with launchd and have compiled a new version (it can veto jobs if the system's running off a battery). Obviously I've had to build it from the Darwin source, so I've had to #ifdef out a chunk of code...see http://release.opendarwin.org/release/ 8.2.1/Sources/launchd-106-darwin.patch The question is, before I hose either of my machines, could a launchd with that patch above applied actually boot a full Tiger?
