Does this mean that the "Target Disk Mode" will ignore the CPU speed requirement? I had tried to upgrade in the past but it did not pass the minimum requirements check. The point of Target Disk mode is to use the old computer as a fancy external FireWire drive, using a newer Mac to run the installation program. You install the software onto the external disk (the old computer). Then you eject the external drive, power it down, start it up stand-alone. If it boots, you're good to go!
