This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com I had changed this like of code to match kIOSerialBSDAllTypes. The enumeration finds the Bluetooth modem and PDA sync but nothing from USB. I didn't see anything about matching but types. Have you examined IORegistryExplorer while your device is plugged in to make sure it is showing up there? Maybe that will give a clue as what to use to match the device. smime.p7s
