You are not having a good time with file descriptors, are you? Right, but only on Darwin ;-) The code in question runs fine on Solaris, HPUX, AIX and Linux. That may be, but how can I determine what's wrong? I think Terry addressed this yesterday. You flatter us: we really are not able to divine the content of your code, and unwind the myriad things that might be going wrong. Give us something to go on, and someone here may be able to help.
