This is my first time to lay hold on anything related to MAC OS... All I need to do is to debug through the darwin's hfs code. (i.e. when I insert an HFS-Plus-formatted CD, i want to debug through the hfs code to better see how it works). You will find this virtually impossible, as a newcomer to the Darwin world. What I did was I downloaded the files found in http://gobsd.com/code/darwin/xnu/bsd/hfs/. I didn't download any other files (is this ok?). Nobody is going to be angry at you for doing that, if that's what you mean. I would like to ask how I could compile this in Xcode. (i.e. do I just add the files in a new XCode project, etc. etc.) You can't compile it into anything useful with Xcode. I'm sorry if this seems so elementary to you. I had been searching through the internet, but I haven't found the solution yet (most probably because I don't know exactly what to search for). If you were to explain why you think you need to "debug through the HFS code" we might be able to give you some better advice. Things are much more complex than I think you think they are. = Mike _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored. We then wrote the disc image to a disc, and tried opening it in MAC pc. Right now, it can only open up to 2 "levels" (i.e. until root\folder1\folder2). My teammate has been trying to solve this for a month now. This email sent to ajmas@sympatico.ca This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
