I was running 10.6.2 in 64-bit mode, did a Time Machine backup, booted from the install DVD and restored it. I'm now consistently getting a kernel panic upon rebooting my 15" unibody MBP (mid-2009). I tried resetting NVRAM/PRAM as well as SMC. I tried booting in safe mode. Nothing helps, I get the apple on the screen and then the kernel panic. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? Thanks, Joel P.S. They say that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I went through the trouble of security-erasing my 6-month-old Apple SSD to restore its performance and now I can't get my stuff back. -- http://linkedin.com/in/joelreymont _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
