Below is the path from which I am trying to get the same: IODeviceTree -> Root -> device-tree -> pci@f0000000 -> NVDA,Parent@10 -> NVDA,Display-A@0 (for First Display) and NVDA,Display-B@0 ( for second Display) When I connect single monitor it gives the key for "EDID" in Display A,but if I connect 2 monitors then in Display A i am getting "EDID" key for first display in Dispaly-A, but for second display i not getting any "EDID" key in Display-B. Ideally, when we connect two monitors, then the IORegistry should display 2 different EDID keys, i.e. different EDID data for corresponding to each monitor. I tried the same by restarting the machine many times, but the issue remains the same. also , i tested this issue on other dual head cards NVIDIA 7300 GT, NVIDIA Quadra FX 4500, the issue remains the same. Is this issue related with the graphics card manufacturer or with the Macintosh OS ? Has anybody encountered this situation before? or If anybody know some other way to get the EDID data for both the monitors. Please suggest.
