3. Your "first question" is never going to be answered, because no one here knows if there are any unknown/undiscovered backdoors, placed intentionally or otherwise, in Darwin. Also, if there are "backdoors" in any OS, government or otherwise, it's unlikely you'll find them by asking on a public mailing list.
