Or are you saying that the source for rsync-23 is available somewhere on opendarwin CVS? I haven't found it yet. OpenDarwin does not keep a copy of rsync in it's cvs repository. I do not believe Apple keeps a copy of rsync in a public cvs repository. There are several older, hacked up versions of rsync (such as rsync_hfs), but those are not what you are looking for either.
