I tried to get the gdb source from CVS. But cvs ended with error as described below. Why? On 24 July, I got this answer from someone of Apple's debugger team on the Xcode list: "The GDB cvs repository is down for maintenance. Please check back in a few weeks." I didn't get an answer when I pinged for an updated ETA on 24 August. My guess is that it will reappear some time after 10.5 is releases, either because they had no time before to fix the cvs repository, or because it was taken down to avoid certain 10.5 or post-10.5 features becoming public before the official release.
