Dunno if you stumbled across my frustrations with Relocation Overflow link errors, but I was struggling for awhile trying to get it figured out. My final message to darwin-dev, which includes my solution (my problem ended up being in in some assembly language) is here: which has links to all the different suggestions I tried.
