Rather than trying to target the CPU frequency, have you considered housing your computer in such a way that it reduce the type of emissions causing the problems? At least a suitable housing could be applied to any computer you buy and would save you from trying to deal with them case be case. I have bought professional shielding material, which is properly grounded and completely encloses the imac. except for where the cables get out. This is the part that drives me completely nuts. :-( It doesn't help. ( I bought it from AARONIA AG , www.elektrosmog.de ) ( 100 dB attenuation ) Do you know what emission type affects you? Energy comes in many forms and knowing which one effects you and how should help you find the best shielding for your computer, and other hardware. As I mentioned before, cell phones , blue tooth and wifi give me the same problems. But I can happily stand next to a micro wave oven. :-) The imac is the worst though. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
