I have an old PowerMac G4, running MacOS 10.4.11 and have set it up as IPv6 gateway to sixxs.net. A few months ago the system would become non-responsive to network access, whether via IPv4 or IPv6. Disabling the script I used to enable to the gateway resolved the issue, but I didn't have time to identify the cause. Now I have investigated further and found that running the following command causes network loss and inability to browse the primary drive (second internal drive and external Firewire drive is not affected): The issue happens even if run the command by itself, not launching aiccu. Trying to launch any applications become impossible at this point. They just bounce for ever. Has anyone seen this or is able to explain what is going on? Without it the machine can't act as a gateway for IPv6 connectivity. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
