Since TCP/IPv6 can send larger packets it seems to be related to the specific packets (possibly how the mbuf chain is built or so). So to provide a work around in our transport stack we need the source code for the kernel which has this problem. And the source code for 10.4.9 is not available... Conversely, I could file the bug internally if you don't have access, just let me know off-list. is not working on 10.4.9 Intel or PPC whereas using a smaller message size is working.
