I've found info in the archives about how to launch the screen saver, or how to prevent it from launching, but nothing about actually triggering a monitor shutdown. The closest I've found in the PowerManager DDK is kPMHasDimmingSupportMask, but it's only a capability flag, and I haven't found any way to actually shut the screen down. [since IOPMSchedulePowerEvent only accepts wake, sleep, power on, shutdown] Do I have to dig in the depths of the IOKit to do this or is there a better way ?
