Hi,
From what I have heard X11 fails miserably with Rosetta on the new Intel Macs. Is this something to do with the way Rosetta handles things, or the way the libraries that X11 are implemented.
Also, is it possible to implement unix tools as universal binaries?
X11 works ok though I had a strange side-effect giving me almost monochromatic color palletes with things like "Inferno" compiled for PPC. I started porting that to intel but hit a problem in the Inferno toolchain. Any userspace binary can be universal in my experience. I'm not sure about kernel extensions but then I never looked. Dave
