The same problem exists in 10.3 with the Developer SDKs. Substitute all mention of 10.4 with 10.3 and 10.3 with 10.2 if you like. Ok if not specific to 10.4 consider asking on the xcode[1] list since Apple folks that know how the SDKs work are more likely to be around (they may give an answer in terms of Xcode but from that you can workout what you have to replicate).
