Sorry if this has been covered before, but can't find it, sooo... I'm trying to compare oranges to "apple's", and would like to know, when Darwin(Unix) ships from Apple, what is the compiler setting. Do they use "-O", "-O2", "-O3" or "-Os" ? I'm not sure what you mean by "the compiler setting", but Apple uses gcc, and the compiler configuration is controlled, I believe, by the "specs" file. Gcc will tell you what file it's using if you run "gcc -v". This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
