Sorry for what appears to be a really simple Question, but I can't find a simple answer I want to find out the IP address assigned to my en0 ethernet interface, programatically. The equivalent to calling "ipconfig getifaddr en0" from the command line. I have toyed with interacting with the ipconfig tool, but I am sure there must be a much easier route somewhere in the sockets API. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
