I know that OpenDirectory uses a SASL password repository at its core, but I have been unable to find any source code for the actual /usr/sbin/PasswordService binary. One of my contacts at Apple pointed me to the passwordserver_sasl tarball, but that is just the standard cyrus sasl package and does not have the sources that create PasswordService.
If the source code is not available, where can I find the PasswordService tcp/ip protocol documented?
PasswordService source is not available. The protocol is not documented. The closest you'll find is the client side in DSPasswordServerPlugin: <http://darwinsource.opendarwin.org/10.4/DSPasswordServerPlugin-113/CPSPlugIn.cpp> -- Finlay _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
