You'd need two (or four) page tables which would seem to be unnecessary. I think each processor has its own TLB and when the processes get scheduled on a different processor, you'll get a TLB miss but you shouldn't get a page fault. In general, you should avoid floating point in the kernel so that we can continue to do lazy FPU spills, which enables us to context switch processes faster than we would otherwise be able to, if we had to spill the entire register state on all kernel preemptions, interrupts, or system calls. If you can, use fixed point or table lookups instead (your code will be faster, too). Alternately, you will need to provide a small static implementation for these functions on your own so that your code can find them. These are because you failed to declare a KEXT dependency on BSDKernel (com.apple.kernel.bsd) for your KEXT. The symbols for sock_* come from com.apple.kpi.bsd. You need to edit the OSBundleLibraries (I think that's what it's called) in your Info.plist. You mentioned spotlight importers earlier in this thread. Writing a spotlight importer might be better than hooking /dev/fsevents -- you can then write user-space code that will fire whenever a .webloc file is written anywhere in your indexed directories...
