Even if accept_rtadv=0, the darwin could receive RA because it is able to be configured whether each interface receives or not. I think there are no command to send router sol periodically. We don't need such behavior because router adv should be sent periodically. If you still need to send rtsol periodically, you may need to write a shell script with rtsol(8). Please let me know on How to set/change the Router solicitation interval on MAC OS darwin kernel ver 9.6.1? . My intention is to increase the router solicitaion interval . I am not sure what kind of help you can get as it looks like you may have found a bug.
