It's probably not overly painful to build this /if/ I can find the right instructions and combination of tools. Can anybody offer any hints, or point me to better documentation than I've been able to find so far?
http://shantonu.blogspot.com/ updated with Lion (and clang) instructions as well.
Thanks Vivek (and ssen/shantonu). Those instructions were flawless. Given how well that worked, I think I'll ask another question: Does anybody know of similar instructions on how to assemble a minimal or full distribution based on XNU and the rest of Apple's open-source code? (My goal is to put Darwin on a virtual machine, so I can use it as a test platform for an open-source tool, along with the various other platforms that we support. No GUI needed: This is all CAD algorithms and tools that run in a console.) _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
