Thanks for the info, yes you are right I am trying to gather all this information from a kext (we have a networking kext), and I need to be able to support all flavors of 10.2, so I can't use the new APIs that I was told about for Panther/10.2.7. I saw that host_processor_info was in the Darwin Sources, but didn't find it in the HTML documentation so I wasn't sure if it was going to be safe to use. So what do you suggest I do to gather the processor information if I have to support 10.2 and later.... Thanks.
