site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: darwin-kernel@lists.apple.com User-agent: Mutt/1.5.13 (2006-08-11) Until the source code is release for 10.4.10, is there any way to back a system off to 10.4.9 to track down a panic somewhere in the vfs layers -- presumably due to a misbehaving vfs kext ? Well, "somewhere" being 0x1c4f6c <cache_lookup_path+606>: mov 64(%ebx),%eax with EBX = 0x00000000 I know it's a NULL deref, but I don't know where the NULL came from, and the latest available sources aren't close enough, apparently, for me to easily figure it out. If I could back off to 10.4.9, I think it would be pretty clear, pretty quickly.
