site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: darwin-kernel@lists.apple.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Is there a document or other information that describes how to setup gdb with 2 machine debugging to also use Apple Sources? It would be useful in some of my debugging situations to be able to step through my code into Apple's sources. I have a kext that is a subclass of IOBlockStorageDriver. It would be most helpful to step into IOBlockStorageDriver under some circumstances to determine what I may be doing wrong in my function overrides. When I generate symbols, I always get a IOStorageFamily.sym which let's me see symbol names. How do I also match up the source files to allow me to view the sources as well? Thank you for any pointers, ...Duane ...Duane -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP Desktop 9.10.0 (Build 500) Charset: US-ASCII wsBVAwUBSuYXo0rg9acQ4r2CAQjyhwf+NHVLZ27h0K1NJJAzfJN4i9PcYJTs+A20 VYtVdCA5DZoJnm94J9Rwwr9Ey6DOOHYBGziYMukN+5kE7LyuaR2PS2Wsya8xijcU okCyRj+z0iDEq+lfTadYgNV1NcKbERdHm8lP/tazNDaHNQksRjZWBiRkq7C3hZoO idZxzFLSmw8oijUW4e15TvwfSa7hl95G8qBgtIhgPY+Kt40d3Xu47ogqkc5fS0OG YZFLtWhBq/rVEKvXV3WmjP3jH+F9DHN940ITkSzVKd9h5wioaUomf/ROb1oUHiOO QugLgtALNZOAp4MQvaWBsz0cPx41deAqLjy+06tPoSi36HCKsS4ygQ== =qnJZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
