I can't say for sure, but it seems to me that including IOKit headers in
non-IOKit extensions is asking for trouble. Why are you doing it?
My problem is actually use the sys/systm.h in an iokit driver. I used the kext template to dig the cause of error. I will still occur in an IOKit driver. As I understand, IOKit are kext but not the other way around (hope I'm not wrong!).
